Assertiveness means standing up for your personal rights – expressing thoughts, feelings and beliefs in direct, honest and appropriate ways. Three sessions to help you find your own voice in a safe and relaxed group.

- What assertiveness is
- The difference between passive, aggressive and assertive characteristics
- What has happened in their lives that have led to them using these characteristics
- Different assertiveness techniques
- What positive and negative enquiry is
- When people pleasing is detrimental to our mental health
- What the barriers are to using assertiveness techniques
- That being selfish is healthy.
