Assertiveness means standing up for your personal rights – expressing thoughts, feelings and beliefs in direct, honest and appropriate ways. Three sessions to help you find your own voice in a safe and relaxed group.

    • What assertiveness is
    • The difference between passive, aggressive and assertive characteristics
    • What has happened in their lives that have led to them using these characteristics
    • Different assertiveness techniques
    • What positive and negative enquiry is
    • When people pleasing is detrimental to our mental health
    • What the barriers are to using assertiveness techniques
    • That being selfish is healthy.
