Mental Elf Festive Fun Run/Walk

Mid and North Powys Mind is very excited to launch it’s very first ‘Mental Elf’ 5km fun run/walk event!
Sunday 3rd December 2023 – Dolerw Park, Newtown
Race start at 11am (registration opens at 9.30am).
Event details
The event is open to all abilities and ages. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Well behaved dogs on leads welcome. Parking, refreshments and raffle available on-site along with Santa and his Grotto.
Everyone that completes the course will get a medal.
There will be additional prizes for: 1st man, 1st woman, 1st junior 11-16 female, 1st junior 11-16 male, 1st child under 11 female, first child under 11 male, best dressed adult, best dressed child and best dressed pet.

Our Challenge
We are hoping to raise £2,500 – every pound we raise brings us closer to achieving better mental health and wellbeing for everyone in mid and north Powys.
£30 could enable us to deliver one session of counselling.
£250 could enable us to deliver a 3 wk on-line Stress and Anxiety Management course.
£375 could provide up to 10 sessions of specialist one-to-one mental health support.
